Registrations and Title Rectifications
Plenty of agricultural land is still unregistered, particularly where it’s been held within a business or a family for generations and never sold or mortgaged. That rarely causes a problem day to day, but it can hold things up the moment you need to sell or refinance.

We prepare and submit first registrations to HM Land Registry regularly, because so much of the land owned by our clients has been held by them for generations. Where the title paperwork is unclear, or the deeds have been lost, we can build an application from the evidence available, what’s known about the land’s history and ownership, and work with the Land Registry to get it registered correctly.
We also assist with rectifications where boundaries don’t match what’s on the ground, correcting the title so the register reflects how the land is actually held and used.
A clean, registered title keeps the land ready to move when the business needs it to.
Whether you’re registering land for the first time ahead of a sale or correcting a boundary that never matched the ground, we’ll get the title in order.
If you’re not sure which of these fits your situation, call us, and we’ll point you in the right direction.
