Grace Phillips

I am a Senior Associate and qualified as a Solicitor in December 2015. I trained at a firm based in Devon and Somerset and subsequently worked at a Taunton based firm, prior to joining Chubb Bulleid in 2026 in the Agriculture and Rural Affairs team. I also have significant experience in residential property, involving a rural element.

What I do

I act for individuals and businesses in the sale and purchase of agricultural property, including by auction, first registrations at the Land Registry, grant of rights (easements), farm business tenancies and grazing agreements. I also handle the sale and purchase of residential properties where the property may have land attached to it.

I also enjoy dealing with transfers of part, frequently of gifts by those considering the future, to their children, family members or grandchildren.

What’s the most rewarding part of your work?

Helping someone feel like they have resolved a property issue and endeavouring to make the process as straightforward as possible for the client, particularly in complex situations.

What do you do when you’re not in the office?

Outside of work I enjoy spending time in the countryside or at the coast with my family, dancing or playing the piano.
