Nicola Derbidge

I am a Legal Assistant in the private client team at Chubb Bulleid’s Somerton branch, where I have worked since 2022. Before joining Chubb Bulleid, I worked in family law and litigation. I am currently trying to broaden my legal knowledge across different areas of law.

I really value being part of a small, positive team in Somerton and I enjoy working behind the scenes in a supportive role, as well as liaising with and assisting local clients when needed.

What do you do when you are not in the office?

Outside the office, I enjoy listening to music, going to the cinema, and reading. I also run, swim, and walk to keep fit. One of my favourite things to do is walking by our local river on the Somerset Levels and spending time with my family.

What is something clients might be surprised to learn about you?

I have a keen interest in all things paranormal.

Have you always worked at Chubb Bulleid?

I joined Chubb Bulleid in 2022 after working at another local law firm in family law and litigation. Before that, I worked as a medical secretary at a local health centre.
