Kirsty Gard

I am a Legal Assistant in the Commercial Real Estate Department and am currently studying towards my CILEX CPQ qualification. I joined the firm in September 2021.

I feel very fortunate to be part of such a supportive team. I enjoy the variety my role brings, with each matter offering something different and the opportunity to continue learning.

What I do

I support the Commercial Real Estate team across a range of property matters, assisting colleagues and clients with the day-to-day progress of transactions. I enjoy the practical and varied nature of my role, which includes preparing documents, handling correspondence, assisting with searches and applications, and supporting the team with file management. I am particularly interested in work involving the Land Registry and Maps.

A bit more about me

What do you do when you’re not in the office?

When I am not in the office, you will find me with my young daughter. We love exploring nature, seeing animals and, of course, ending the day with a much-loved coffee and cake date.

Friday night is our dedicated movie night, and there is something very special about introducing my daughter to the films I loved growing up. Our current favourites are Shrek, 101 Dalmatians and Monsters, Inc.

What’s something clients are often surprised to learn about you?

Clients may be surprised to learn that I am a big fan of heavy metal and rock music — a love I inherited from my father.
