Kate Coombes

I am a Cilex Paralegal and have been working in Conveyancing since 2014. I joined the Chubb Bulleid Residential Team as a Legal Assistant in 2020. Before embarking on my conveyancing journey, I worked for a local Estate Agency firm which helped develop my communication skills and which I have been able to transfer to my current role.

What I do

I assist a fee earner through the process of buying and selling their homes as well as other property transactions such as re-mortgages, transfers of equity and first registrations.

I understand that moving home is a huge and sometimes overwhelming process and endeavour to help ensure the transactions are as smooth as possible throughout each stage.

A bit more about me

The most rewarding part of my role is being able to inform the clients that their transaction has completed, particularly clients who are buying their new home and beginning a new chapter of their lives.

When not in the office I enjoy spending time with my partner and son. We have three amazing dogs and therefore much of my free time is spent on visiting new places, taking long walks on the beach etc having adventures and making new memories with them.
