I am a Legal Assistant and I have worked for Chubb Bulleid since March 1999. I love being part of a business where we know our clients, the majority of whom we have acted for over many years. I have lived in Somerset all my life and feel a strong connection to the local community.

There is a dedicated sense of teamwork and support here at Chubb Bulleid. Building trusting relationships with our clients is important if we are to provide the service they need, and I value the connections we have with the people we support during their transactions.

What I do

I provide legal assistance to a Partner and Director of the firm for clients buying or selling businesses, mainly pubs and holiday parks. I also assist developers with plot sales and similar work, drafting documentation and preparing sales packs on complex transactions, working effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.

What do you do when you’re not in the office?

Having three children and three grandchildren in the family, my life outside of work is far from dull! In the spare time I do have, I enjoy the occasional bike ride and reading. I also have a passion for water and find myself swimming 1000 metres every morning before work.

Have you always been at Chubb Bulleid?

When I left college I started working at Wookey Hole Caves as a receptionist — and not the witch, I hasten to add! I stayed there for seven years before joining Chubb Bulleid.
