Gemma McMillan

I’m the Credit Controller for Chubbs and qualified CILEX Paralegal, having qualified in 2024. I also have a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management. I enjoy working closely with clients and colleagues to find a clear, practical way forward on billing and fee matters, taking a holistic approach and treating every situation individually. Outside work, I follow Coventry City Football Club and am a reptile enthusiast, keeping several snakes and lizards.

What I do

I work with clients and fee earners on all aspects of billing and fees. This includes answering questions, helping to clarify invoices and resolving issues in a practical and constructive way. I look at each matter as a whole rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, because every client and situation is different. My aim is to make the process as straightforward as possible, keep communication clear and help everyone reach an appropriate outcome.

Helping clients understand their position and working with them to resolve billing or fee queries in a fair, practical and individual way.

What do you do when you’re not in the office?

I’m originally from Warwickshire and follow Coventry City Football Club. I try and get to games as often as I can.

I’m also a keen reptile enthusiast and have a growing collection of snakes and lizards; much to my mother’s complete horror.
