Anita Beesley

I am a Legal Assistant and have been working in conveyancing since I left school a very long time ago.

I have always wanted to work in the law and fell in love with the conveyancing process which has changed drastically since I started work all those years ago. I have always enjoyed speaking with clients and helping manage their expectations and providing a positive client experience.

I joined Chubb Bulleid initially as a float secretary but within a short time ended up working full time in the Street office in their residential conveyancing team. Chubb Bulleid is a firm with a strong local reputation with a genuine focus on its clients.

I assist in helping clients through the process of buying and selling their homes, as well as other residential property transactions.

What’s the most rewarding part of your work?

For me, the most rewarding part is helping clients successfully complete their transactions. Buying or selling a property is often one of the biggest financial commitments someone will make, and it can also be a very stressful experience. If I can play a small part in making what can be a complicated process feel a little easier and less stressful, then I’m really pleased to be able to support them in achieving their goal.

What do you do when you’re not in the office?

Outside work I enjoy cooking and although I no longer have my dog, I do enjoy walking. I also read and knit.

What’s something clients are often surprised to learn about you?

I volunteer at the Bishops Palace in Wells.
