Alice Barnard

I am a CLC Conveyancing Technician. I completed my Level 4 Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice in 2020 and went on to complete my Level 6 Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice in 2022. I am currently working to complete my Statement of Experience in order to apply for my Conveyancing Licence from the Council for Licensed Conveyancers.

I have worked for Chubb Bulleid for over 8 year and started as a Legal Assistant with the firm being very supportive of my progression. I enjoy all areas of conveyancing, but most enjoy dealing with unregistered property. Outside of work, I am a busy mum.

What I do

I assist the residential team with a variety of matters which include sales and purchases of freehold & leasehold properties, Transfer of Equity, Re-mortgages and First Registrations. I am also managing my own cases of the same nature.

What’s the most rewarding part of your work?

Helping client get through the stressful nature of buyer or selling a home and achieving a completion.

If you weren’t a lawyer, what would you be doing?

If I didn’t work within the legal sector, I think I would have been a teacher.
