I joined Chubb Bulleid in September 2020 as a Trainee Solicitor.
I am delighted to have now qualified into the family team, where I have been located for the past 12 months.
As a trainee in the family department I was able to work alongside a team of highly experienced family lawyers, dealing with a wide range of matters including complex financial matters, children arrangements, nuptial agreements and issues surrounding cohabitation. In family law, no two situations are ever the same and with the development of the new ‘no fault divorce’ in April 2022, the ethos behind non-confrontational law that I am a firm believer in, has evolved.
A member of Resolution, I am committed to assisting clients in managing their relationship breakdown, in a way that promotes the wellbeing of my client and their children and enables both parties to move on to co-parenting in a constructive manner. In financial matters, I aim to provide clients with practical advice as well as legal advice, in order to guide them through achieving the most appropriate outcome in their circumstances in a cost effective way.
Originally from London, I moved down to Somerset 5 years ago in order to enjoy all that the wonderful West Country offers, including exploring the amazing countryside with my family and not to mention the fine foods within the local pubs and restaurants.
Favourites
Beach or countryside – Beach. The beaches in Cornwall are some of the best in the world.
Dogs or cats – We have 2 of each, so I would have to say both.
Favourite Film – Jerry Maguire never ceases to make me laugh.
Pub v Restaurant – Both. My favourite is a converted life boat station near Fowey, which serves the best Fowey river mussels with a chilled glass of Waddling Duck!
Favourite Drink – A glass of Malbec on a Winter’s evening.
Favourite Sport – Equestrian. The privilege of seeing these amazing animals who are stronger, faster and more agile that we could ever be and yet who choose to allow us to ride them is extraordinary.
