Amelia Canham

I moved to the South West in 2014 from Oxford, first to Devon and then to Somerset in 2016. I joined Chubb Bulleid in 2018 as a legal secretary before moving across to the Ops team in 2020, first as the Compliance Administrator and then as the Compliance Manager. I work with colleagues across the business offering advice on money laundering regulations, client due diligence, conflicts of interest and anything else they might need of me!

Outside of work I enjoy reading, baking, archery and trips to the cinema. I am always interested in learning new things and one of my latest projects involved sewing a regency-style dress for the Jane Austen festival in Bath.

 

My Favourites

 

Favourite season? Autumn, hands down. I love watching the leaves change colour and the crunch under foot as they start to fall.

 

Beach or countryside? Beach – there’s nothing quite like being by the water.

 

Walk v Run? Walk – one of the best things about going new places is the chance to wander round and take in all the sights.

 

What superpower would I like? The ability to speak every language on Earth. I think it would be incredible to travel the world and instantly be able to communicate with anyone you met.
