Ruth Jackson.

 

I joined Chubb Bulleid in 2021 as in-house barrister and head of the family team, based in Wells.  I had previously been a partner in a large firm in Wiltshire, and moved to Wells for family reasons.

The Chubb Bulleid family team is growing.  It’s an exciting time for the firm, so it is a privilege for me to lead this dynamic team of family experts.  Although there are challenges ahead for family lawyers, as we see changes to court practice and out of court dispute resolution, I am very much looking forward to building upon and developing the family team at Chubb Bulleid.  I’m honoured to be in the driving seat of this great team.

 

Claire Tofts.

 

Claire has been promoted to Senior Associate in the commercial property team in our Street office. Claire has worked for Chubb Bulleid for three years and says “Chubb Bulleid is a friendly and supportive firm which builds great relationships with clients and provides clear and pragmatic legal advice. I am pleased to be working for individuals and businesses across a broad range of commercial property matters in my new role.”

Claire Tofts has been a fantastic addition to the Chubb Bulleid family specialising in Commercial Property since she joined the firm, and her promotion is very well deserved.  She brings great experience, knowledge and a reliability to the department.  Claire understands our underlying ethos that we care for our clients and understand what their needs are.

Fiona joined the firm as a trainee solicitor and has worked in every department of the firm before deciding to specialise in Commercial Property and business related transactions.  I could not be happier that she has stayed and grown within the firm into a first rate lawyer.  I can still remember the excitement on the end of the phone when I telephoned her to offer her a training contract many years ago and she has not disappointed.

With regards to all three, they are the future of a firm which has ambition to continue to grow and expand whilst never losing sight of the most important thing which is to provide a high level of service for all of our clients with communication at the heart of everything we do.
